A safe place for rising middle school-aged adoptees to find community, explore their stories, and learn tools for navigating the challenges of adolescence.
YASS aims for participants to:
- Explore thoughts and feelings about adoption
- Share their stories
- Strengthen positive identity and values
- Feel heard and supported by peers who “get it”
- Learn skills for responding to unique challenges and experiences faced by teen adoptees
Dates: July 24 – 28, 2023, Half Day (1:30pm to 3:30pm). No aftercare provided outside of camp hours.
